Health in the Hoods’s food distribution provides 4.5 tons of free food to over 400 families every week.

There are 2 methods to obtain food:

  • Drive up
    • Waiting in line starts on Ali Baba Ave and lineup begins at 7 am in front of Opa-Locka Train Station to the Amazon Facility
  • Walk up:
    • Waiting in line begins on Sidewalk South of Pantry. Line opens at 7am

Meet Health in the Hood in Opa-Locka every Tuesday and Thursday Distribution begins at 9:30am until food runs out.

Free assistance card REQUIRED. You can get your card onsite day of or by registering online.
