This program helps people in Broward County with urgent needs like

• Getting transportation

It offers short-term financial help and guides people to other resources for long-term support.

Who Can Get Help?

To qualify, you need to meet these requirements:

• Live in Broward County
  • Show proof of your address, like a utility bill or rental agreement.
• Have Low Income
  • Your income must be at or below a certain level.
  • You must show proof, like WIC, Medicaid, or pay stubs.
• Show an Emergency Need
  • You must explain why you need help on your application.
• Household Requirement
  • Open to families with children up to age 18, or up to age 21 if still in school.
• No Other Financial Help
  • You should not be getting financial help from other programs.

  • Get bus passes for important trips like medical appointments, school, or work if you have no other way to get there.
• Follow-Up Support
  • A support person will help connect you with other services if you need long-term help.
