Who Can Get Help?

To qualify, you need to meet these requirements:

  • Live in Broward County
    • Show proof of your address, like a utility bill or rental agreement.
  • Have Low Income
    • Your income must be at or below a certain level.
    • You must show proof, like WIC, Medicaid, or pay stubs.
  • Show an Emergency Need
    • You must explain why you need help on your application.
  • Household Requirement
    • Open to families with children up to age 18, or up to age 21 if still in school.
  • No Other Financial Help
    • You should not be getting financial help from other programs.
