The Caps & Cribs program helps teen mothers by providing one-on-one mentoring to guide and support them.
Program Goals:
- Teach, support, and empower teen mothers.
- Help them set goals and stay focused.
- Encourage them to finish high school or earn a GED.
Why This Program Matters:
- Palm Beach County has the 3rd highest number of teen births in Florida.
- Only 50% of teen mothers in the U.S. graduate high school by age 22.
What Makes Caps & Cribs Special:
- It’s the only program in Palm Beach County that provides one-on-one mentoring for teen moms.
- Works with other local programs like:
- Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies (HMHB).
- The School District’s Teen Parent Program.
- Connects with as many teen moms in the area as possible.
