Ever consider a career in Fiber Optics?

Launch your career in one of today’s fastest growing industries.

OIC of South Florida is providing this hands-on training that aims to give you the knowledge, confidence, and experience needed to pursue entry-level opportunities in the telecommunications and broadband workforce.

You will learn to:

  • Install and splice fiber optic cables

  • Test and troubleshoot fiber optic networks

  • Work with advanced telecom and data systems

  • Follow industry safety and best practices

In addition to technical training, you will receive career coaching and employment support to prepare for entry level positions in the field.

Certifications and stackable credentials are available:

  • Fiber Optics installer

  • OSHA 10

To qualify you must:

  • Be 18 years or older.

  • Have a High school diploma or GED

    • If you do not have the education, you may still qualify by taking the OIC qualification exam.

Classes Start July 13 and run through August 13th
