Spring Break Program at The HEART Community Resource Center

We are having a five-day Spring Break program at The HEART Community Resource Center. It is for youth ages 14–19 who want to learn about their future.

Youth can learn about:

• College
• Jobs
• Skilled trades
• Starting a business

We bring colleges, trade schools, job programs, and community groups to the center. Youth can ask questions and learn about real opportunities.

During the week, youth will:

• Meet people from universities
• Learn about local and state colleges
• Discover hands-on jobs and trades
• Build job skills
• Visit community groups at our Resource Fair

Each topic has its own day. We do not put everything into one big day. This helps youth:

• Talk more
• Ask questions
• Feel comfortable
• Find what is right for them

A special part of the week is our Photovoice project called “My Social Safety Net.” Youth will think about:

• The people who support them
• Programs that help them
• Their own strengths
• Their goals for the future

College, Careers & Beyond is more than an event.
It is a place where youth can learn, feel supported, and grow.
