In 2009, the Village of Allapattah YMCA opened with a Family Center and Preschool in the Allapattah area of Miami. It is a key provider of unique community health, and wellness, and family programs and activities for the community, including adult and senior wellness, youth programs sports, health education and empowerment, health navigation and advocacy, food and community resources and more. Its preschool is Apple Accredited and provides a learning foundation for kids and their families in the area.
