Kidz Korner FAQS
At Kidz Korner, we’re all about creating a safe, fun, and engaging space for your little ones while you take advantage of the CRC’s resources. Whether your child wants to explore, play, or make new friends, we’ve got everything they need. Let’s make your visit worry-free and fun for the whole family!

What ages can attend Kidz Korner?
Kidz Korner is designed for newborns through age 13. If a child is not potty trained and needs to be changed, the parent or caregiver must change them.
How long can a child stay in Kidz Korner?
Children can play for up to two hours per day. A parent or caregiver must stay at the CRC while their child is in Kidz Korner. Children will only be released to the adult who dropped them off.
Can I bring my child to Kidz Korner if they are sick?
No. For everyone’s safety, we ask that sick children stay home until:
- The child has not had a fever (or used fever medicine) for at least 24 hours.
- The child has been getting better overall for at least 24 hours.
- Vomiting has improved, and the child can hold down food or liquids in the morning.
- Diarrhea has gotten better, and the child is no longer having “accidents.”

Are children allowed to bring their own toys to Kidz Korner?
No. Kidz Korner has toys that are safe for all kids. Please leave your toys at home.
Is there a dress code for my child at Kidz Korner?
We suggest that children wear comfortable clothing. For safety reasons, please avoid clothes with hanging strings or extra items that could be a choking hazard.
What should I do if my child has allergies or special needs?
Please inform the Kidz Korner staff ahead of time about any allergies or special needs your child may have. The childcare staff will not give children medications.
What happens if my child gets upset or does not behave?
If a child is fussy for more than 15 minutes or misbehaves, the parent or caregiver must return to them. After three reported issues, the child will not be invited back.
The parent or caregiver is in charge of any damages caused by their child. By using Kidz Korner, you agree not to hold HEART at fault for any harm or damage that happens during your child’s visit.
