❄️ Warming Center Open in Okeechobee County

Cold overnight temperatures are expected in Okeechobee County. To help keep residents safe and warm, a warming center will be open this weekend.

Saturday, January 31
Sunday, February 1

The warming center will open at 6:30 p.m. each evening and remain open until temperatures rise above 40 degrees the following morning. The center may close for the night if no guests arrive by 10:00 p.m.

🛏️ What to Bring
Cots are provided, but guests are encouraged to bring: bedding, hygiene products and snacks.

🚫 Please Note
For everyone’s safety, no weapons, drugs, alcohol, or pets are allowed inside the warming center.
