Rapid Re-Housing/Rental Assistance through the County of Highlands
The Rapid Re-Housing Program is created to assist eligible individuals or families to obtain quality, safe, and affordable rental housing, and prevent evictions and homelessness.
Funds will assist with utility and security deposits, first month’s rent, and with utilities and rent in arrears.
This is a one-time grant assistance.
Eligibility
- Â Income Categories to be served: Extremely Low, Very Low and Low.
- The applicant must be a resident of Highlands County for at least 6 months prior to applying for assistance.
- The applicant is required to have a 6 to 12-month lease.
- Applicants must show ability to make monthly rental payments.
