  • Mother-Baby

The Caps & Cribs program helps teen mothers by providing one-on-one mentoring to guide and support them.

Program Goals:

  • Teach, support, and empower teen mothers.
  • Help them set goals and stay focused.
  • Encourage them to finish high school or earn a GED.

Why This Program Matters:

  • Palm Beach County has the 3rd highest number of teen births in Florida.
  • Only 50% of teen mothers in the U.S. graduate high school by age 22.

What Makes Caps & Cribs Special:

  • It’s the only program in Palm Beach County that provides one-on-one mentoring for teen moms.
  • Works with other local programs like:
    • Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies (HMHB).
    • The School District’s Teen Parent Program.
  • Connects with as many teen moms in the area as possible.

National Recognition:

  • Accredited by the National Quality Mentoring System.
  • One of only six nonprofit programs in Florida with this award.
  • Shows that the program is safe and effective.

Caps & Cribs is here to help teen moms succeed in school and in life!

  • You will be matched with a female mentor who is also a mom.
  • Together, you can work toward high school graduation and prepare for the future while being a parent.
